The Director of Tripoli Medical Centre, Dr. Nabil Ajili, called on the Presidential Council to pay debts incurred by the centre for the benefit of the pharmaceutical and maintenance companies over the past years in accordance with contracts concluded with the previous administrations.

Dr. Ajili warned those present at a meeting held on Sunday with Presidential Council representative Tahir Amer, of a complete shutdown of the Tripoli Medical Centre medical as a result of lack of a financial budget.

Ajili added that the amount of debt accumulated on the Tripoli Medical Centre has reached 80 million dinars, with great losses to the Centre’s equipment due to the disruption of medical equipment supplies and a lack of periodic maintenance, which amounts to 50 million dinars, according to previous statements made by Dr. Ajili.
