The Communicable Diseases Department of the Tripoli University Hospital has reopened its doors after it was temporarily closed to undergo development and maintenance work.

The department has been equipped with the most advanced medical appliances and equipment, said the head of the department, Dr. Nader Shalakah, explaining that this will directly contribute to enhancing the performance and efficiency of the department and will allow doctors and staff to provide better services to the patients.

It is noteworthy that the Communicable Diseases Department at Tripoli University Hospital is considered one of the best in the western region with a capacity of 24 beds, and the only department in the region that includes a special unit for children.

The hospitals management emphasized that the department also has some of the best expert doctors, which made it a destination for patients from all regions of Libya.
