South Korea has allocated $ 500,000 to UNICEF's educational program in Misurata, UNICEF said on a statement.

The support is to run for two years and seeks to improve educational quality for five thousand students in the city, UNICEF stated on Tuesday.

The support is also part of the rehabilitation of three schools and the provision of school tools, non-formal education opportunities, recreational activities, and life skills.

The statement also quoted South Korean Ambassador to Libya, Sungsoo Choi, as saying that his country will continue to pursue the aspirations of the children of Libya for better future.
