The Interior Ministry of the Presidential Council reiterated that it had taken all security measures in roads and university halls in various municipalities to ensure the smooth conduct of the second round of the secondary certification exams, which starts Saturday.
The Ministry called via Facebook the parents of students to guide their children not to be dragged behind rumours or acts of sabotage, and to cooperate with the security forces and monitoring committees, insisting that the security situation is under control.
The Ministry of Education has announced earlier the postponement of the second round of high school diploma exams to the fifteenth of September because of the clashes in southern Tripoli during the past days.
