The Minister of Education of the Government of National Unity, Mohammed Al-Maqryif, has announced the training of 56 Libyan students in teaching the Italian language in Libya, at Ca'Foscari University in Venice, Italy.

This came during his meeting with the Italian ambassador to Libya, Giuseppe Buccino, during which he praised the efforts of the Italian embassy in giving training opportunities to Libyan students.

The minister reviewed what has been achieved regarding the resettlement of the Italian language in Libya, saying “we have completed the first part of the database and we count on the cooperation of the Italian side in preparing curricula to suit the different stages of education by forming joint committees to do so”.

He also stressed the ministry's keenness to teach the Italian language in Libya in the coming years, within the framework of the ministry's interest in teaching different languages.
