The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research launched Saturday the educational network platform for medical colleges (Video conference) at the level of Libyan universities.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Imran Al-Qib joined the ceremony organized in Tripoli, with directors of departments and supervisors of the project taking part, besides the head of the Main Committee of Medical Colleges.

The event also featured speeches and notes of university officials, medical colleges deans, directors of information and documentation centers, and through the "Zoom," faculty members of international universities in the US, Canada, and the UK.

The national project is part of the digital transformation project that aims to promote distance education and harness this technology in covering the deficit in teachers at medical colleges, the Ministry of Higher Education explained on Facebook.

It noted that students would be offered lectures from experts and specialists from international universities around the world.
