The Ministry of Education of the Presidential Council (PC) has agreed with the Ambassador of France to Libya, Béatrice Le Fraper du Hellen to train and prepare 120 teachers for teaching French.

The Minister of Education Osman Abdul Jalil discussed with the French Ambassador the training program and ways to drive sustainable development in the education sector.

They also discussed introducing the French language in secondary schools as a first stage, according to the ministry's website.

It was also agreed to proceed in developing the curricula, building on the pre-established one before, as well as printing the text books before the beginning of the next academic year.
