The Audit Bureau sent a letter to the Education Minister of the UN-proposed government warning of the delay and procrastination in implementing the Presidential Council’s decision regarding printing school books by means of immediate contraction, saying that decision was not taken seriously.

The letter confirmed that the Education Ministry has to some extent idled the time given for the printing away as it could have finished the job before the new school year begins.

“There is scepticism that the Ministry dilly-dallied regarding the printing of the school books.” The Audit Bureau wrote.

“If there is any neglect done purposefully by the administrations at the Ministry of Education, then it must make sure that it shoulders them the responsibility and takes disciplinary measures against them.” It indicated.

The letter urged the Education Ministry to immediately fix the situation by making contracts with the necessary bodies for printing the books so the students can get them in time.
