World Bank has issued a new strategy to support Libya, concentrating on bringing services to people, recovering economy and rebuilding the country in the future.

In a statement on Wednesday, the World Bank said the new strategy was issued in response to a request by the Libyan Presidential Council and based on working ethics with countries plagued by instability.

"World Bank will be working on supporting the Libyan people in the coming three years." The statement reads.

It adds that the strategy aims to provide regular electricity supplies, high quality education and healthcare, and speeding up the recovery of economy by training the government cadres to administrate and control public funds, in addition to developing the financial and private sectors.

The World Bank said it also aims to boost transparency and accountability, let alone brining all various officials to the decision making table.

World Bank's resident representative in Libya, Michael Schaeffer, said the focus for Libya also includes tackling illegal immigration.
