The Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Salama Al-Ghwail, has discussed with the Egyptian Minister of Trade and Industry, Nevin Jamea, economic cooperation and ways to enhance it.

Al-Ghwail stressed Libya's keenness to benefit from the Egyptian economic experience, which he described as “successful”, including developing the industrial sector, promoting foreign trade and developing the investment sector.

He also stressed the need to activate cooperation agreements signed between the two countries.

For her part, Jamea explained that the current period is witnessing tangible cooperation between the two countries in the industrial field, noting that Libya is one of the largest markets receiving Egyptian exports in 2021, as Libya ranked ninth in the world, achieving an increase of 64.5%.
