The UN Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) discussed on Thursday, with a group of Libyan economic experts along with representatives from the UNDP and the World Bank the progress made in the economic track, as part of the third meeting of the Libyan Economic Dialogue.

In a statement on its website, the UNSMIL explained that the meeting which was convened virtually dealt with the policy road map developed as part of the Berlin process, as well as the on-going economic reform efforts and the "deepening" banking crisis.

Participants also exchanged on efforts to address vital services, decentralization, and needs arising from the Covid-19 pandemic.

The UN mission said that the meeting represents the third track of the Libyan-Libyan dialogue, which includes Libyan economic experts from various political spectrums, working to reach a consensus.
