The Salvation Government has decided to cash out the delayed salaries for all Libyans before the beginning of Ramadan and to keep using the national ID number policy for payment to limit any duality in salaries, in addition to a constant supervision mechanism that can depict those guilty of dual salaries and those who cover them.

The government decided as well, in its meeting in Tripoli on Thursday, to guide the country’s spending to the right track, which would confine the squandering of money via a number of procedures such as applying and controlling the financial system as well as the contracting and purchases in the country’s institutions.

It also appointed a specialized committee to evaluate the possibilities of increasing salaries as to suit the increase of living standards nowadays, and assigned the Ministry of Social Affairs to conduct a survey to get to know the families with a small income and find ways to provide the due assistance.

The government appointed another committee to revise the salaries systems in the public institutions and the foreign investment institution so that it can propose new systems that can be at harmony with the work and performance these institutions are providing.

It also decided that each ministry should be responsible for delivering a report about the notes given to them by the 2014 Audit Bureau annual report and that of the Administrative Control Authority regarding all their offices and departments in a period of two weeks so that it can assess them and act accordingly.
