The Salvation Government urged the commercial banks to extend their working hours and to open doors for the customers during the weekends in order to facilitate the process of withdrawing the citizens’ salaries starting this week.
The SG decided yesterday to start distributing the salaries of government employees for May and June before this weekend; while similarly, the Prime Ministry gave orders to the Ministry of Finance to distribute three-month salaries to the employees of the economic units as well as of the public companies, which are having financial troubles.
These three months will be a money advance under the general expenditures chapter of the 2015 budget, knowing that the banks have gone into a crowdedness wave as the salaries started to reach the employees bank accounts and as Eid approached.
