The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Mustafa Sanallah, discussed with the CEO of Schlumberger, Olivier Le Peuch, ways to enhance cooperation between the two parties, with the aim of transferring appropriate technologies to carry out maintenance work for the closed oil wells.

Sanallah praised the role that Schlumberger played over the past years, during a meeting via video link, on Tuesday, considering that it is "one of the most important service companies that have an important role in supporting oil and gas production”.

He also praised the company’s role in the field of developing human resources and the launching of the training center project in Benghazi, which will start its program during the first quarter of next year.

The CEO of Schlumberger confirmed the company's intention to provide service and technical assistance in all oil fields and sites in Libya.
