The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has announced the completion of the second phase of operational trials of El Faregh Field plant, under the supervision of Al-Waha Company.

The production capacity has been increased to nearly 150 million cubic feet of natural gas and around 10,000 barrels of condensate production per day from seven wells, after completing all operational tests related to the system and equipment on Friday, according to the NOC.

"Gas will be pumped through a 110-kilometre pipeline to "Intasar" field (103a) of Zuiteina Oil Company and then to the offshore fields after laboratory tests have confirmed its quality and conformance to the required standard specifications," NOC stated.

It also revealed the introduction of the eighth BB-11 well on the production line in the last few days, which will add 30 million cubic feet of gas and about 5,000 barrels of condensate production per day once the leakage repair is completed.
