The deputy head of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteeq emphasized his government's desire to start development programs through economic reforms and cooperation between Libyan and German companies, in order to complete large-scale projects.

Maiteeq's remarks came during the Libyan-German Economic Forum held in Tunis, with the participation of several financial institutions, including the Central Bank of Libya (CBL), the National Oil Corporation (NOC), and a number of Libyan and German companies.

The PC's deputy head indicated the importance of the Forum as it comes in conjunction with the implementation of the economic reforms program, which promotes the resumption of work in the development programs and the stalled projects carried out by German companies.
