The National Oil Corporation (NOC) announced Wednesday it is ready to lift the force majeure at Es Sidra oil port, to allow a tanker to load crude from storage.

The NOC called on all Libyan parties via its official Facebook page on Wednesday, to support the corporation and allow a tanker on standby at Es Sidra oil port to start loading crude oil from storage.

In its statement, the cooperation also demanded that all foreign mercenaries and armed groups leave Es Sidra port immediately.

The Economic Working Group on Libya met on Monday, in the framework of the ongoing Berlin Process and reiterated its full support for the NOC in lifting force majeure on oil exports nationwide, the NOC noted.

It emphasized the immediate need to restart the production as soon as possible, in order to stop the damage to Libyan oil infrastructure and to protect the NOC's vital assets from further deterioration and collapse.
