The coastal municipalities of western Libya have held talks with a number of Chinese companies to discuss cooperation in infrastructure projects.

Representatives from the Chinese companies offered the municipal councils of Zoltn, Raqdalin, Zuwara, Sabratha, Surman, Zawia, Ajilat, and Al-Jamail strategic projects in electricity, water and infrastructure.

“The municipal councils are now studying the Chinese offers,” the media office of Surman Municipality reported on Wednesday.
