A celebration was held in Tripoli on Monday to mark the sixth anniversary of the launch of the Libyan Businesswomen for Development Organization and to declare the foundation of the "Libyan Association of Women Entrepreneurs in the Maghreb."

The ceremony included a visual presentation to spotlight the organization's activities and the goals achieved in the past years.

It was also an opportunity to exchange economic and cultural experiences and to explore means to encourage women's participation in sustainable development.

The participants agreed on the need to provide women with training opportunities to help them develop their skills and abilities, increasing their chances of escaping poverty and participating more effectively in society.

President of the Libyan Businesswomen for Development, Amira Ashour, said that the organization considers challenges a way forward to achieve success and reach a high level of ambition.
