The Head of the Libyan Audit Bureau Khalid Shakshak has formed a committee composed of five persons to coordinate with the parallel Audit Bureau in eastern Libya.
The committee shall be tasked to consolidate efforts between branches, departments and members of the Audit Bureau, to overcome the state of division in the country and achieve comprehensive and effective control over public funds.
The decision came after consultations held in Tunisia nearly two years ago in coordination with the Control Committee of the House of Representatives in the framework of the efforts to unify state institutions and end the state of division.
