The Libyan Minister of Economy and Trade, Mohammed Al-Huweij, discussed in a meeting in Tunis with his Tunisian counterpart, Samir Saied, exchange of medical and food products.

The Tunisian Economy Ministry said in a statement Saturday that the meeting reviewed opportunities available to establish a strategic partnership that establishes real economic integration between the two countries.

They also discussed the necessity of developing a common vision to advance exchange and joint investment, especially in some service sectors that have a strategic outlook, including raw materials as well as health services.

Libyan and Tunisian Ministers of Economy stressed the importance of the role of public support structures, the private sector, and the financial and banking sectors, which are described by the Economy Ministry as one of the most significant challenges that emerged during recent global events and crises.

They also proposed the formation of a joint working group to review the presented measures with their various aspects, and to develop a practical action program, saying the different stakeholders would participate in formulating it, especially the private sector.
