The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Al-Siddiq Al-Kabir met Monday the Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul.

Erdogan and Al-Kabir reviewed issues of mutual interest, according to a brief statement by the media office of the CBL on Facebook.

The meeting between the Governor of the CBL and the President of Turkey comes after several meetings held by the former with financial officials in Turkey.

On Friday, Al-Kabir and his delegation met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Turkey Murat Uysal. The meeting saw discussions on issues of joint interests.

The Governor of the Libyan Central Bank also met with the Turkish Minister of Finance and Treasury Berat Albayrak, discussing issues of mutual interest, according to the CBL.
