The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Saddek Elkaber discussed Sunday, with the managers of commercial banks and the director general of Muamalat Company the implementation of the economic reform program.

The meeting discussed the service levels of banks to citizens and companies, as well as the latest developments and ways to overcome and address the difficulties facing these banks, according to the official website of the CBL.

The meeting also referred to the automated clearing system, the issuance of instruments and electronic payment services, and the performance of commercial banks in combating money laundering and terrorism financing.

They also discussed ways to improve the performance of banks, as well as completing the requirements for its development, especially in the cities of the south.
