The head of state-owned Libyana Mobile Phone, Ali Ghazawi, confirmed on Wednesday that the Chinese company ZTE will resume its suspended projects in Libya next week.

Ghazawi added that the company's projects in Libya were suspended because of the US embargo imposed on it, adding that the Chinese company confirmed its willingness to study compensation for Libyan companies for the losses suffered.

The United States imposed a ban on the Chinese company ZTE for providing false statements about actions allegedly taken against the sale of products to North Korea and Iran, which is a breach of the international sanctions imposed on them.
