The Dialogue and Debate Club (DDC) in Misrata has launched a national project to raise awareness of the importance of dialogue and debate in the society.

More than 250 young people will take part in the year-long project dubbed "Let's Be Heard", which also aims to train young people about skills of dialogue, a step that would pave the way for opening dialogue clubs across the country.

According to the organizers, the project will also help in discovering young leaders and set up a database for society elite, which would preserve Libyan's unity.

"It also aims to exchange expertise and bridge the gap between Libyans to narrow differences to reach convergent opinions and views." The organizers added.
