The body of a nine-year-old boy, Ehab Al-Maedani, was found tossed on the road Sunday morning in Al-Nasiriya town in Wirshiffana district.

Ehab Al-Maedani had been abducted by Wirshiffana criminal gangs for about 10 days before the kidnappers decided to kill him and throw him on the road as his family failed to pay the LYD 200,000 ransom they demanded.

This criminality by Wirshiffana bandits, who are part of the so-called Tribes Army and loyalists to Gaddafi as well as to the Dignity Operation led by renegade General Khalifa Haftar, goes so far unnoticed by the international human rights organisations, such as Human Rights Watch and by the UNSMIL, allowing it to become a hub for bandits and criminals.

The kidnapping and execution of Al-Maedani is not the first by the stone-hearted Wirshiffana criminals. On February 24, they executed a 12-year old boy, Abdullah Dagnoush, after his father failed to collect the ransom they demanded for his release.
