The Tripoli Security Department has issued a statement confirming that an outlaw armed group carried out a random shooting on Tuesday morning at the National Commercial Bank, Sooq Al-Thulatae, Tripoli.

"One security guard was killed and three others were injured due to the haphazard shooting, besides the abduction of three other security guards who were at the bank." The statement says.

The statement also stated that a patrol from the emergency police nearby the traffic lights at the Airport Road was shot at causing damage to the patrol's vehicle, while the gunmen ran away in the direction of the Airport Road.

The security department of Tripoli reaffirmed in its statement that it won't be standing on the sidelines watching those attacks happen in the capital, vowing to track down the criminals and outlaws.

"All security apparatuses inside Tripoli will continue to operate to help secure the citizens and the public and private institutions." The statement indicated.
