In a rather outlandish incident in Libyan universities, a college student in Misrata University threw a grenade bomb at one of the university's office to retaliate from a professor who kicked him out of an exams hall accusing him of cheating.

According to social media activists, the student threw the grenade through the window of the teaching staff office in Misrata University, injuring four people - three teaching staffers and one student.

The spokesman of the Misrata Hospital Akram Gliwan said in a presser that the wounded are suffering from serious and medium degree injuries.

"One of the injured is still being treated in the emergency hospital in Mistrata." Gliwan said.

Some of the Libyan schools and universities are suffering from lack of security and presence of arms, leading in certain cases to shooting incidents and armed attacks on students and teaching staff.

However, what happened in Misrata on Tuesday is a turning point in the negative sense regarding the use of arms - from light to medium - so will we later hear about some students using heavy arms in schools and universities?
