The President of the High Council of State, Khaled Al-Mishri, proposed to the Special Adviser to the UN Secretary-General on Libya, Stephanie Williams, to hold a meeting with the Speaker of Parliament, Aqila Saleh, in the city of Ghadames, west of the country, to discuss the outstanding points in the constitutional process.
The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Mustafa Şentop, affirmed that Libya's unity and territorial integrity are among the priorities of the Turkish Republic.
This came during his meeting with the President of the High Council of State (HCS), Khaled Al-Mishri, in Istanbul on the sidelines of the Inter-Parliamentary Conference organized by the International Union of Parliaments, in cooperation with the Turkish National Assembly, on migration and refugees, according to the HSC media office.
A group of members of the High Council of State (HCS) aligned with the Prime Minister-designate of Parliament, Fathi Bashagha, are demanding the incumbent PM Abdul Hamid Dbeibah to hand over the government HQ smoothly.
