The Libyan Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah said his government is waiting for the passing of the budget by the House of Representatives so they can implement their plans, adding that activating parliamentary committees is necessary.
The remarks came in a meeting on Wednesday with the Head of the Presidential Council Mohammed Menfi and elections centers' representatives.
A group of 27 members of the House of Representatives (HoR) called for withdrawing confidence in the Government of National Unity in the next Monday session, citing irresponsible behavior by Prime Minister Abdul-Hamid Dbeibah, and said his behavior is "controlled by the corrupt political money".
The Head of Libyan High Council of State Khalid Al-Mishri told the UN envoy to Libya, Jan Kubis, in a meeting in Tripoli on Tuesday that the House of Representatives (HoR) didn't abide by the political agreement regarding issuing elections' legislations.
Al-Mishri added that the HoR's legitimacy is based on the Libyan Political Agreement not 2014 elections, adding that if the HoR violated the agreement, it would lose its legitimacy.
Member of the Presidential Council, Musa Al-Koni, has agreed with the deputy head of Sudan's Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant-General, Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, to start bilateral meetings to address the issue of Sudanese migrants stranded in Libya and return them to their country.
