The Libyan mission to the United Nations participated in the 31st Special Session of the United Nations General Assembly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic that took place on Thursday.

An unexploded ordnances on Friday killed one person and wounded another in the city of Tarhouna southeast of Tripoli, a source from the city has confirmed.
The unexploded shell was found on a farm belonging to a family that fled to Tripoli during the recent war waged by warlord Khalifa Haftar.
Tarhouna, which was recaptured in June by the internationally recognized Government of National Accord (GNA), was in the hands of the Kaniyat militia run by the local Kani family, which fought alongside Khalifa Haftar’s militias.
