The preparatory committee for holding the Inclusive Forum for the Libyan-African Relations convened its first meeting on Sunday, at the HoR HQ in Tripoli.
The meeting was convened upon recommendations made by the Foreign Ministry and Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives.
The session discussed preparations for holding the forum scheduled to take place early next month, according to the media office of the HoR.
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) has provided training on infection prevention, control, and management of coronavirus cases to health care providers working in detention centres.
The training program targeted about 25 health care providers working in shelters in Tripoli, Zawiya, Zuwara, and Dhahir Al-Jubail.
It also conducted practical training for 15 members of the Rapid Response Team in Tripoli, in collaboration with the National Centre for Disease Control.
The Libyan General Authority of Searching for the Missing said Sunday it had recovered 12 bodies from five newly discovered mass graves in Mashroa Rabet area in Tarhouna city, which was once under Khalifa Haftar's forces before being liberated by the Libyan Army under the command of the Government of National Accord.
The European Union has slapped sanctions on several Libyan individuals (assets freeze and travel ban) as well as on political figures and entities (assets freeze).
The Head of the EU delegation to Libya Antonio Jose Sabadell said the bloc put 16 individuals under travel ban restrictions and 20 individuals as well as 19 under assets freeze.

Tulaitela Centre for people with disabilities in Tripoli has reopened the men's department after undergoing comprehensive maintenance work.
The occasion was marked with an opening ceremony last Thursday, facilitated by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Abdel Nasser Midi, a statement by the Ministry of Social Affairs said on Facebook.
The men's department consists of two floors with a capacity of 40 beds, equipped to suit the needs of persons of different types of disabilities.

From the Indonesian side, the meeting was attended by the Chargé d'Affairs of the Indonesian Embassy in Libya, the Minister of Labour, the Director of the Labour Office at the Ministry of Environment, a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and professors from the University of Jakarta, according to a statement by Libya's Labour Ministry on Facebook.
