One civilian person was killed and others were wounded as Khalifa Haftar's forces shelled a residential area in Ain Zara in southern Tripoli on Sunday, the Volcano of Rage media office said.

Identical sources reported shells falling on Salah Al-Deen near the Customs Department office, causing damage to two houses.

US Africa Command carried out an airstrike on Sunday in southern Libya killing 7 ISIS militants in coordination with the Government of National Accord.

In a statement on Monday, US Africa Command director of operations William Gayler said their pursuit of ISIS-Libya and other terrorist networks degrades their ability to effectively conduct operations against the Libyan people.

Libya's Presidential Council sets demands ahead of Berlin conference

The Presidential Council has conditioned its participation in the upcoming international conference on Libya in Berlin to a number of demands, including commitment to the Libyan Political Agreement and its bodies as the only basis for any upcoming dialogue, stressing that all countries should halt dealing with parallel institutions in Libya as the only legitimate body is "the Government of National Accord."

71 immigrants rescued and released off Libya's coast

The Libyan Navy had announced rescuing 71 illegal immigrants from a dinghy after receiving their distress call off northern Al-Khums.

The Navy said the rescued immigrants were released afterward as communications with the concerned authorities to lodge them in a detention center had failed, saying the Navy and Coast Guard premises cannot host them.
