The European Union's Delegation to Libya has launched a mental health project in the country that aims to improve access to and quality of mental health care services in Tripoli, Benghazi and Misrata.
The project is launched with the support of the European Union, Handicap International and its partner Nebras (Tunisian Institute for Rehabilitation), in collaboration with the Libyan Ministry of Health, Libyan universities, the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Tunis El Manar, according to the EU delegation's statement.
As southern Tripoli frontlines have been seeing an uneasy calm with some intermittent clashes between the Libyan Army forces and Khalifa Haftar's forces, the latter, positioned in Urban town between Gharyan and Tarhouna, have attempted to advance on Gharyan but failed.
A security source in Ajilat said one young man was killed after an attack by an armed group on Jadidah police station as well as a security department's outpost.
The source said the Ajilat security department managed Monday evening to contain the attack in Jadidah area after hours-long clash with the armed group.
'The young man who was killed in the clash was from the outlaw armed group. One person was injured from the police station." The source added.
A convoy of 75 military vehicles coming from eastern Libya entered Sharara oilfield on Monday, local media outlets reported a military source from Ubari as saying.
The source, who asked to remain anonymous, said Khalifa Haftar's forces which arrived from eastern Libya aim to secure oil fields after the defeat of their fellow forces in Murzuq and loss of grip on the south.
