The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sarraj has approved a new phase of the tactics that aim at repelling the attack on Tripoli by Khalifa Haftar's forces.
This came in a meeting on Saturday in the presence of Chief of Staff Mohammed Al-Sharif, Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha and other officials.
The Head of the Libyan Presidential Council, Fayez Al-Sarraj, has proposed an initiative of seven points that aims to end the current crisis in the country.
Al-Sarraj proposed in a press conference on Sunday in Tripoli holding a Libyan Gathering "Multaqa" that will be sponsored by and coordinated with the UNSMIL, in order to gather all Libyan parties that advocate for peace, democracy and stability, excluding those who advocate for dictatorship and have had Libyan blood on their hands.
