Warlord Haftar’s warplane bombs oil facility and tannery in Tajoura, east Tripoli

A warehouse owned by subsidiary Mellitah Oil & Gas Company in Tajoura suburb of Tripoli was destroyed in an airstrike on Tuesday, causing significant material losses, the National Oil Corporation (NOC) confirms.

The airstrike ignited a fire that destroyed valuable equipment and materials in addition to the warehouse itself. It is the fourth attack on NOC facilities since the beginning of the assault on Tripoli.

Three oil workers were wounded in the airstrike.

Libyan Air Force destroys ammo, weapons and vehicles for Haftar's forces near Gharyan

The Libyan Army forces under the Government of National Accord have targeted with precise airstrike ammunition supplies and military equipment for Khalifa Haftar's forces in Jandouba between Gharyan and Al-Asabea.

The Libyan Army's Volcano of Rage Operation said Tuesday on Facebook that the Air Force targeted those supplies which were aimed to boost the military offensive of Haftar's forces.

Libya's Interior Ministry resumes security, training cooperation with France

The Libyan Interior Minister Fathi Bashagha has ordered the resumption of security and training cooperation in mutual agreements with France.

Bashagha sent Tuesday a letter to the Head of Cooperation and Contact Administration of the Interior Ministry asking him to put the resumption to effect.

Meanwhile in May, the French ambassador to Libya, Beatrice de Helene, reaffirmed the need to cooperate with Libya in a meeting with Bashagha in Tunisia.

Souq Al-Jumua municipality blames Libya's Electricity Company for power crisis

The municipality of Souq Al-Jumua in Tripoli has blamed the General Electricity Company of Libya (GECOL) for the deterioration of power crisis and the long outages in the last week.

In a statement on Monday, the municipality urged the Presidential Council to take the necessary measures to solve this crisis and review the spending on power sector knowing that no positive results had been achieved.
