Libya's Central Bank resumes family dollar grant

The Central Bank of Libya (CBL) has announced that it is going to resume the family dollar grant (the remaining $500 for each family member) of 2018 starting from next Sunday. 

"However, we will soon announce the fraud IDs' cases at the Civil Registry Authority." The CBL explained in a statement issued on Wednesday.

The Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirraj has met with the vice president of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and other officials in Dubai to discuss the latest developments in Libya.

The Tuesday meeting reviewed political conflicts in Libya, and the mutual relations between the two countries, according to Al-Sirraj's media office.

In a meeting on Tuesday morning in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Head of the Presidential Council Fayez Al-Sirrja and the Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah agreed to lift force majeure on the biggest oilfield in Libya - Sharara.

NOC said in a statement following the agreement that "all parties expressed a desire to swiftly resolve the crisis (at Sharara oilfield) and restart production as soon as possible."

Libyan political parties sign organizational doctrine

Several Libyan political parties and organizations have signed a doctrine to organize political work in the country, boost democracy and peaceful circulation of power as well as to renounce violence and elimination.

The parties, which signed the paper on Monday, reiterated commitment to state sovereignty and stressed the need to work for all Libyans and stay away from partisan bias, promising to denounce terrorism, fanaticism, and using foreign intervention against fellow citizens.
