Altercation between parliament members suspends meeting

A verbal altercation between two MPs of the House of Representatives ended a seating abruptly on Tuesday.

The dispute started after a heated discussion about the transfer of the location of the House of Representatives from Tobruk to the city of Benghazi.

A video of the altercation depicted the quarrel between the two MPs, Issa Araibi, who rejects the political agreement, and Faraj Bohashm, who supports it.

Libya Football League: Al-Ittihad draws Al-Naser and Al-Ahli Benghazi draws Al-Ahli Tripoli

Al-Ittihad drew Al-Naser 2-2 at the third round of the round-of-four of the Libyan Football League at Tripoli Stadium on Monday.

By the draw, Al-Ittihad remained on top of the group of four teams with five points, while Al-Naser remained last by two points.

Al-Naser scored first as Salim Al-Misallati scored two goals in the first half, while Al-Ittihad managed in the second half to draw by the goals of Ahmed Al-Zway and Ahmed Al-Tarbi.

Libya Central Bank probes Audit Bureau corruption accusations

The Governor of the Central Bank of Libya (CBL) Al-Siddiq Al-Kabeer ordered financial committee tasked to track money laundering to investigate the allegations of Audit Bureau that accuse certain firms of smuggling foreign currency.

Al-Kabeer urged in a statement on Sunday the Audit Bureau to send the evidence it has to the financial committee so it can take the needed legal measures of the allegations were proven right.
