Tripoli University sports club launched

Tripoli University has announced the launching of a sports club under its own name in a ceremony held at the university two days ago.

The Head of the Tripoli University Club, Eyad Al-Misrati, said the sports club will be officially on the sports scene in the coming days and will take part in 6 group games.

"The Tripoli University Club will take part in all official sports events." Al-Misrati added.

IS terrorists execute young man in Libya's Bani Walid

IS militants executed a young man from Bani Walid by firing squad after he had been abducted days ago in Garza district, nearby Man-Made River road.

According to witnesses cited by media outlets, the victim was found Monday tossed near a tank on the Man-Made River road.

"He was missing for days after clashes between Bani Walid security patrol and IS militants." Media outlets reported.

Dutch woman goes missing in Libyan capital

A Dutch woman identified as Yvonne Snijter has gone missing in the Libyan capital of Tripoli, local social media pages and Dutch media have reported.

Snijter was last seen at around 10pm on Friday, a day before Ramadan, in Caffe De Roma in the old town.

She is the founder of Al Eureka, an independent education center in Tripoli. Her friends said she drives a Black 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe and is known to be very social.

HoR boycotting members threaten to deter Speaker with bold measures

Several members who suspended attending the sessions of the Tobruk-based House of Representatives (HoR) said the Speaker, Aqilah Saleh, violated the internal work codes of the HoR and has had power only to himself.

The MPs called on Saleh to carry out a group of needed and radical reforming measures.

In a statement, the MPs said they contacted Saleh and asked him to reform the internal work codes, but he ignored the urge and looked the other way.
