NOC denies use of Al-Feel oilfield's airport by Dignity Operation

The National Oil Corporation in Tripoli has denied allowing the military warplanes of Dignity Operation or any other force to use Al-Feel oilfield's airport for military ends.

"The oilfield is under the control of the Fizzan Petroleum Facilities Guard (PFG) of the Government of National Accord's defense ministry, and it is led by Abdu Bakir Al-Suqi." NOC indicated on Tuesday.

The Chairman of the National Oil Corporation (NOC) Mustafa Sanallah has said all gas and oil pipelines that are shut by protesters must be reopened immediately without any preconditions.

He told the press that the rewarding of criminals and armed groups policy that was adopted by previous governments are the main reason why this stark criminality is repeating itself over and over again.

Gunmen broke into the house of Governor of Central Bank of Libya Siddiq Al-Kabir in Nofliyeen neighborhood of Tripoli late on Monday in an attempt to abduct him.

Sources said the gunmen were angry about the rising price of dollar in the black market, accusing Al-Kabir of being behind the deterioration of Libyan dinar against the dollar.

Al-Kabir was not at home when the attack took place. According to the Central Bank of Libya, Al-Kabir was in Malta attending a meeting of governors of EU central banks.

6 people commit suicide by hanging in Bayda

6 people have ended their lives by hanging themselves in their homes in Bayda, local sources reported.

Bayda Media Center said the 6 self-murders were recorded this month while two others were saved while attempting suicide and are currently undergoing treatment in a local hospital.

There are no specific reasons for the suicides, but many people believe that the victims were controlled by djinns or black magic.
