An Oil pipeline connecting Al-Entisar oil field with Zueitina port in eastern Libya exploded Monday morning.

It's not clear what caused the pipeline, which lies in the desert 75 km south Zueitina, to explode, but authorities suggested that the blast could be deliberate, accusing terrorist groups, which are active in the region, of masterminding it.

Oil safety teams and firefighters are still battling the blaze and working to repair the damaged pipeline.

On the other hand, Ajdabia city, which is neighboring Zueitina terminal, has been witnessing armed clashes between groups affiliated to Dignity Operation and anti-fighters form Ajdabia Revolutionaries Shura Council.
