The leader of Dignity Operation, renegade General, Khalifa Haftar, has admitted that his loyalist fighters from Awliyaa Al-Dam (Blood Owners) brigade had carried out acts of vandalism, burning and robbing houses and properties as well as random arrests in Benghazi.

In a statement of the so-called Libyan Army Commander in Chief, Haftar disowned the brigade saying they do not belong to his forces although they are, and pointed out that he will bring those who committed such sabotage acts to the specialized authorities.

Days ago, a group of fighters loyal to Haftar stormed civilians’ houses in Al-Leithi area, which lately were controlled by Haftar forces then robbed and burnt them, most recently the house of one of 2011 February revolution leaders, Naser Bu Hafoul, who was killed in armed clashes with Gaddafi brigades in Sirte. Sources reported.

The formation of the brigade Awliyaa Al-Dam (Blood Owners) came with the start of Dignity Operation, and since then it had burnt tens of houses owned by fighters from the Benghazi Shura Council in different parts of the city.
