Drive-by gunmen have opened fire at the exterior gate of the Libyan Fatwa House on Thursday, the media office of the country’s top religious body reported, adding it’s the second attack within 15 days.

The Fatwa House said gunmen driving an armored Toyota Land Cruiser showered the gate with bullets at 11:16 AM and escaped. No casualties were reported.

A CCTV camera showed one of the attackers opening fire at the gate.

On March 16, four masked assailants broke into the Fatwa House at dawn, assaulted the guards and ransacked the offices before escaping.

The Fatwa house held the concerned security authorities in Tripoli responsible for the two attacks. It said it had contacted Tripoli Security Department to report the two attacks but there was no response.
