The administration of Communications and Information of the UN proposed government, have stated through their official Facebook page that the UN proposed government took over the building which houses the Libyan Embassy in Moscow, Russia.

The administration added that the Vice President of the Presidential Council, Ahmed Maiteq, had a telephone conversation with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov, in which he welcomed the move to take over the headquarters of the Libyan embassy and expressed his praise for Russian support of initiatives made by his government, and its role in bringing the views of the opposing Libyan parties closer together.
