The Al-Bayda-based National Committee for Human Rights in Libya (NCHRL) has denounced what it described as the atrocious crimes and violations committed by the outlaw armed factions of Zintan Military Council against civilians in Ragdaline city.

The Central Bank of Libya has issued its annual economic index for the first half of 2016, showing a serious hike in inflation with 25.3% from January to June 30 compared to 8.7% for the same period in 2015 and 9.8% of the entire 2015, which really explains the rocketing of prices on levels in the Libyan market.

Al-Bunyan Al-Marsoos forces conducted a cleaning operation Sunday to clean the coastal road from Al-khamseen checkpoint to Sirte, fearing that the remnants of IS radical group would use it to plant mines in the heaps of rocks and garbage that are thrown alongside the road as it usually does.

A nursing institute, which was opened by Gharyan Educational Hospital, opened its doors for students Sunday and aims at qualifying nurses to step in for the lack of nurses in the city’s hospital. The head of the institute said the students will have theoretical and practical curricula for three years. Like all Libyan hospital, Gharyan hospital suffers lack of nurses after the foreign medical personnel has left Libya over salaries delay and poor security.

Janzour municipal council denied that the coastal road is closed at the 17 Bridge as media outlets reported. On Facebook, the council said it agreed on reopening the road after the meeting of 18 western municipalities ended. It added that it is ready to provide medical services for the injuries of the clashes in Al-Zawiya city.

Spokesman of Ghat municipality said that the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) distributed foods baskets to a number of needy families in Ghat in cooperation with Taher Al-Zawi Charity.

London to host Monday a ministerial meeting that was called for by the UK and the US under the slogan “International Partnership with Libya to gather support, coordination, and achieve stability.” The meeting will see a discussion of Libya’s economy.

16 bodies of illegal migrants were recovered as they washed up on the shores of Zuwara city, the head of the media office of the Libyan Red Crescent said. He added that the bodies were totally decomposed saying the boat on which they were sitting probably drown days ago.

Tripoli Municipality opened the public park that overlooks Omar Al-Mukhtar on Sunday by the efforts of volunteers from the city. The municipality sent a public invitation to all those who care for the beauty of Tripoli to take part in the opening of the park.

More than 40 families have been evacuated from the conflict area in Zawiya city on Saturday, the Libyan Red Crescent has reported, saying many other families are still trapped due to the heavy gunfire.

The self-proclaimed military governor of east Libya Abdul-Razzaq Al-Nadori revealed Saturday that a number of officers in Khalifa Haftar-led armed forces are betraying the army, saying they would be suppressed if they move against it.
