Turkish hospitals and hotels are refusing to receive any more Libyan patients due to accumulated debts, Libya ambassador to Turkey has said.

Abdul-Razak Mukhtar clarified that the Libyan Embassy's debts in Turkey have reached € 77 million, calling on the Libyan government to develop regulations to organize overseas treatment to stop draining the public money.

He added the total number of Libyan patients in Turkey has exceeded 8.000 admitted to 10 hospitals across the country.
