The General Director of Tripoli Medical Center, Mohammed Ihnaish, met Thursday the Charge d' Affaires of the Philippine Embassy in Libya Adelio Angelitos Cruz and discussed the possibility of bringing back the Filipino assistant medical staff to resume work in the center.

Over the last months, a number of Filipino medical assistants gradually left the center due to unrest and lack of security.

Ihanish also discussed with Cruz the mechanisms by which the medical staff left Libya would get their financial dues, in addition to cooperation in conducting training programs for the center's nurses.

Meanwhile, the Charge d' Affaires Adelio Angelitos Cruz's visit also checked on the health condition of one of the Filipino nurses, who got sick and was referred to the intensive care unit under the supervision of specialized doctors.
